Products marketed for tissue repair may include BPC-157, TB-500 or TB-4, CJC-1295 with ipamorelin, tesamorelin, GHK-Cu, and others. These products do not all have the same evidence, approval status, quality controls, or risks.
What does the science say?
Much of the excitement around several popular recovery peptides comes from animal or laboratory studies. For example, BPC-157 has shown potentially interesting effects in preclinical research. However, high-quality human evidence for many of the healing claims remains limited or absent.
Promising animal results do not establish that a substance is safe or effective in people. This is not a reason to dismiss future research; it is a reason to be cautious about guaranteed results or confident claims that run ahead of human clinical evidence.
Regulatory status and sourcing
Many peptides promoted for healing or recovery—including BPC-157, TB-500, and MOTS-C—are not FDA-approved for those uses. Eligibility for compounding depends on current federal policy and the specific substance, and legal status can change.

- Where is the product sourced, compounded, and independently tested?
- What are the known risks, possible interactions, and important unknowns?
- How will benefits and adverse effects be monitored?
- Could its use violate professional or athletic drug-testing rules?
