What Realistic Success Looks Like

Honest and encouraging: for hair restoration and skin rejuvenation, many patients see meaningful results, and PRP hair treatment in particular has solid supporting evidence - with the understanding that it usually requires a series of sessions plus maintenance, and works best combined with proven treatments. By contrast, systemic "anti-aging" products - stem cell IVs, exosome infusions, NAD+ drips - have no convincing human evidence of slowing aging, and these are exactly the products the FDA has warned can carry serious risks. The smart move: embrace the proven aesthetic uses, and be skeptical of anything sold as a longevity cure.

PRP facial treatments typically run $600-$1,500 per session; PRP hair restoration $1,500-$3,500 for an initial series, plus maintenance; nanofat and surgical fat transfer vary by provider. Longevity IV programs range from hundreds per drip to five-figure memberships - scrutinize these hardest, since the evidence is thinnest where prices are highest.

Recovery and Risks

Aesthetic PRP involves redness, swelling, or bruising for a few days; because your own blood is used, allergic risk is low and infection is uncommon with good technique. Injected or IV products made from donor tissue (exosomes, birth-tissue "stem cells") carry meaningfully higher risks and are not FDA-approved for these uses.

For injectable and surgical aesthetic work, credentials matter - look for board certification in dermatology or plastic surgery, realistic before/after expectations, and clear per-session pricing.
